Restaurant Marketing: Steal This Idea; I Did!

Steal this idea. I did. It’s a great one and will make your guests smile. Every time we visit the washroom/restrooms, we always look at or in the mirror. It’s just natural! So, do this in your washroom/restroom facilities.

Post a note on the mirror, addressed to the guest that reads something like this:

Dear Restaurant Guest,

Take a good look at yourself in the mirror. You worked hard all day. Don’t you deserve a reward? Don’t you deserve something good? You do deserve the best, so go ahead and order one of our New York Style All-Decadent Creamy Cheesecakes for dessert. Indulge yourself. You only live once. A slice of our Cheesecake and coffee? Mmmmm.

Regards,
Name of restaurant manager.

How many of your guests do you think would identify with this message? How many more desserts do you think you would sell? How many more smiles do you think you would get? And of course, imagine the conversation when that guest returns to the table and tells everyone about that note?

By the way, I stole this idea from Two Hat Marketing who invited his readers to, “Steal This.”

Another Restaurant Marketing Secret Out Of The Bag

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men and women with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persitence and determination alone are omnipotent.  (Calvin Coolidge)

How Bad Are Those Fries? How Good Is That Chicken Sandwich?

Now you can compare all of those fast food restaurant nutrition facts at Calorie Counter.

In terms of calories, Sonic’s fries are the best; Dairy Queen’s the worst. Regular burgers? Wendy’s has the best and Carl’s Jr. the worst.

The Double Six Dollar Burger from Carl’s Jr. contains an insane 1520 calories. One sandwich contains more calories than some smaller females need… PER DAY.
