When it comes to restaurant marketing, the Mellow Mushroom does a decent job. When it comes to their product in terms of price and value, it posts a loss. High price with little value. Soft drinks $1.90 each. Small salads $3.10. Large pizza $14, add on pepperoni, tomatoes, mushrooms at $2.10 each and total for the pizza was close to $20. And the pizza wasn’t even that great. No kick, totally bland. Walked out paying $40. No value there.
Ask your guests if they feel they got a great value for their money. If not, they’ll be like me, walking around telling everyone that this restaurant is a rip-off.
