Restaurant Marketing: A Skinny Latte From Starbucks

During January, Starbucks will introduce a “skinny latte”—a nonfat latte drink made with sugar-free syrup that has 50 percent or less calories than one made with regular syrup.

The 12-ounce caffe latte or caffe mocha made with sugar-free syrup and nonfat milk has 90 calories. That compares with the 12-ounce white chocolate mocha latte made with whole milk and whipped cream, which has nearly 400 calories.
