Restaurant Marketing: “Grass Is Always Greener” Restaurant Marketing
Restaurant Marketing: It seems that with each new technological development, comes a new “easy path to riches” opportunity for marketing restaurants. First it was your web site, then it was email and now it’s Social Media. One “guru” on Fohboh even said it was the “next frontier.” The reality is that there is no easy technological way to increase your sales. Everything takes time. Everything takes work, and not everything brings the results that you imagined or read about in all of that hype.
Technology does change and enhance ways to communicate with our guests, but the fact is that OFFLINE social media is the most powerful tactic to increase your long-term sales. You still need to practice “Mayor Marketing.” Don’t get caught up in “grass is always greener” marketing, because truthfully that grass isn’t always greener.
